Past event: When to work and when to rest: Navigating the never-ending grad to-do list

How do you decide when you’ve done enough for the day/week when the work is never really done? You might find that even when you aren’t working, the weight of what you could be doing is draining your energy and making it hard to recharge. The lack of structure in grad school can lead to a feeling of time slipping away – getting less done than you’d hoped or promised. The emotional weight of the unfinished work can be exhausting.

In this free workshop, we’ll consider ways to carve out rest time, set boundaries with yourself and others, actually ask for the time you need to complete tasks and introduce strategies to decide when to push through and when to step away.

Open to all UofG grad students! Sponsored by your GSA! Join us in-person (in the UC) or online via Teams
