MintOT: Helping you thrive at school and work

Tara Embrey and Melissa Beacom are occupational therapists (OTs) with more than 30 years’ combined experience in supporting graduate students to function and thrive. Prior to starting Mint OT, Melissa and Tara were employees at the University of Guelph within Student Wellness Services (SWS). During their tenure at the university, they created and researched a highly successful program for undergraduate and graduate students called Learning to Bounce (full report here). Now working in the community, Tara and Melissa focus their expertise on helping students get unstuck, find momentum, understand the underlying causes of perfectionism and procrastination and develop practical emotional learning skills to get through the ups and downs of the student experience.
